Peter Anania was approached in 2004 to consider purchasing and turning around a company called AM Wood Designs located in Bingham, Maine. Mr. Anania was approached because of his reputation in the State for solid operating experience along with a drive and passion for supporting Maine businesses and Maine products. AM Wood Designs is a manufacturer of pine unfinished furniture to outlet stores throughout New England. In addition to bookcases, shelving and store fixtures they also have a line of outdoor furniture including the classic Adirondack chair and garden bench and established a line of cedar products as well. In 2008, management decided to terminate the pine unfinished furniture operation and move the White Cedar Gazebos operations to Windham under the Maine Cedar Log Homes LLC ownership to manufacture the gazebos.
